Maria, garde périscolaire - BH25 Barton on sea

Hello, my name is Maria and I am currently seeking a family who needs some extra support during the school holidays and/or evening work. I am a fun, reliable, enthusiastic, punctual lady who has extensive knowledge and experience working with children including many different roles and settings. I am a fully qualified childcare practitioner and hold a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education since 2007 and have been working with children since obtaining this qualification. I am keen for children to be in the outdoors so tend to do lots of fun activities with them whether it is walks in the New Forest, going to the beach, park, adventure trails or swimming ect. I have a full clean driving licence and have a full clean enhanced DBS check. Since relocating from London in February this year I have been working as a special needs teaching assistant for children with Asperger Syndrome, Autism, PDL, developmental global delay and ADHD. Although my main experience is with SEN children I have also worked with mainstream children and have a child myself and nieces/nephews. Before I relocated to Dorset, I worked in Child Protection Team in the Metropolitan Police service in London for nine years, and therefore have a very good understanding of safeguarding children and working with families. I have also had previous experience in working in nursery settings, and as a childminder in all covering all age groups from birth -18 years old.
