Hello, my name is Chris. I live in the YO31 area of York.

I am a friendly, conscientious and passionate professional, having had many years of experience working with young children from birth to five years. I have a sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage. I had to resign from my nursery teaching post last year due to relocation to York for my husband's job.

I have recently become a grandparent which I absolutely love! This has helped in my decision not to return to a full time teaching post but to work part time instead.

I am a very creative person and love planning activities to involve children using first hand experiences, through which they will make the next steps in their learning, whatever their age. I have recent experience of caring for babies, including feeds, changing and sleeps.
I am respectful of your routines and behavioral expectations.

I would prefer to work in your home, ideally 2 or 3 days a week. I am happy to be flexible wherever possible.
