I am a BCD (Bachelor of Child Development) student at Seneca College. I am currently in my 6th semester. The Child Development program allows me to develop skills and gain knowledge about teaching and curriculum as well a multidisciplinary and family practice. Throughout my program I have experienced placement in many different daycares with a variety of age groups ranging from 2-5. I enjoy working with young children and helping them excel in their growth and learning. I am very punctual and take initiative in work. I am 21 years old. I always have a positive attitude and love creating activities for children especially ones that benefit their education and am very enthusiastic around children. I enjoy staying active. Activities I enjoy are running, swimming, yoga. I am looking for full time work starting April. I will be returning to school in King City in September and can continue working around my school schedule if needed.
I recently worked at a daycare center in Newmarket. I was an assistant teacher, I was responsible for ensuring productive transitions throughout daily routine with the children as well as keeping the classrooms clean and organized. I also worked well with collaborating with fellow staff members.
I have worked in a Laser Tag Party Center for children where I was in charge of helping parents organize their party room for the children's party. I also was in charge of organizing a schedule for the games and making sure the children were on time for the turns. I always take pride in maintaing a safe a clean environment for children and their families.
