My name is Hannah, I am 25 years old. I have 7 years of professional childcare experience, as well as assisting with various groups. Please see details below.

I have 7 years experience as a nominated carer for children. I have looked after newborns to teenagers in this role. Mothers and their babies also come into placement, therefore I have experience assisting new mothers looking after their newborn.

• Playing board-games, drawing/painting, baking, outdoor activities etc.
• Discipline children when required.
• Engaging the children with holiday activities such as zoo, seaside and farm trips.
• Providing healthy meals and snacks.
• Reading to and with the children.
• Care of newborns.
• Taking babies to baby groups and children to play groups.

I help with an 'infant massage' course where mothers learn a unique way to bond with their baby. The 4 week course teaches mothers to sooth and stimulate their babies through massage.

I have also gained experience with health visitors, assisting with groups such as 'Baby weighing clinic', 'MILK' breastfeeding drop ins, and 'Early Parenting'. Through these groups I have expanded my knowledge on baby/child development and gained great insight into the post-natal support given to mothers and

I have volunteered in several orphanages abroad as a baby nurse, having duties such as:
• Washing, bathing, dressing and changing nappies.
• Preparing bottles and feeding.
• Providing supervision and constant care.
• Stimulating babies: age appropriate play – massage, singing.
• Burping and dealing with colic.
• Starting and maintaining routines.
