Alessia, au pair à Milano 20162

I live with my family, in Trezzano sul Naviglio, 7km away from the center of Milan but well connected with buses and trains; it's a quite place with big parks and green areas.
My dad, Luigi, works in a factory that makes boxes for medicines and cosmetics, my mum Lucia works as an officer in my old school, then sister Francesca who's at the first year of high school.

I'm currently attending my last year of high school, I study tourism and thanks to my school I attended 2 school stages, one near London and one in Seville.
I also worked in a hotel in Milan for a school stage in the summer of 2016, as a hostess in "Fa la cosa giusta" fair and as a tour giude thanks to a project promoted and managed by my high school, we organize guided tours of Milan, which I personally lead, for other students.

I Worked as a volunteer in a summer camp for 5 summers; we were a large group who took care of children for most of the summer; we organized games for them such as soccer and volleyball tournaments or arts and crafts activities. They were usually divided by age to ensure safety and fairness. We would go on outings twice a week: once we would go to the swimming pool or to the beach and once we would go to mountains or theme parks. A catering took care of cooking food but we had to set the tables and clear them after the children were done as well as cleaning the entire structure every day.
During this experience I learned a lot of things that can be useful with childrens, for example when they argue I know how to talk with them and how to solve the problem, or when they hurt themself I know how to medicate.

I love travellig and exploring new places; I always try to get in touch with local people and do typical things. My last trip was in Barcelona with my family, and I also went to Seville, London, Lisbon and Budapest.
I also like reading books, cooking and baking, taking photos, listening to music and going to concerts, music is an important part of my life, I can't live without it. I'm into rock and punk music, but I listen to every kind of music.

I'd like to be an au pair because I love spending time with children, taking care and play with them and this would be an amazing opportunity for me; I would also like to improve my communication skills with children and how to stay in touch with them; i have previous experienxe but improving is always good!
