I am a 19-year-old girl from Denmark, and I am looking forward to spending my gap year in Paris. I moved to Paris in the hope of becoming better in French as well as receiving a more broad cultural understanding. I believe that being a part of a family in France is the best way to integrate and understand French culture.

I love challenging myself to become better in a foreign language, as I find different languages very interesting. I finished Danish high school this summer. I studied high level English during my entire time of high school, two years of German, and half a year of Latin.

This is my first time living abroad, and I am very much enjoying France and the Parisian spirit. I am a very responsible, open-minded person, and I am looking forward to learning more during my stay in Paris.

I am looking for a baby-sitting job in Paris with at least 25 hours/week. A good level of French cannot be a requirement, as I am still a beginner, but perhaps a position, where I can challenge my French skills to become better. However, a good level of English (or Danish) is a plus, as I am fluent in those languages.

During my teenage years, I have been taking care of my younger cousins. This started when I was at the age of 13. At this time the girls were 6-9 years old. Also, I have always been helping my younger brother with his homework and assignments for school. I love being with children, both young and older children, and I cannot imagine a better scenario than having childcare as my main occupation. My neighborhood growing up was very family-friendly with many children and animals. I have recently taken an 8-hour first aid class.
