My name is Petru, I am my mother language is English and Afrikaans. I am interested in full or part time babysitting. I have 13 years of international experience with children of all ages. I worked for Carnival Cruise Line as a Youth Director where I was responsible for all children onboard and also the children’s program... Then children’s program was an activity based program that included arts and crafts, science and much more. I have extensive experience with children ages 0-17 years bit prefer ages 0-8. I believe children learn and grow best during “play” activities. I am patient, calm and flexible always give 100%. I am passionate about children and their wellbeing.

Good afternoon, I have know Petru for many years while she worked for Carnival Cruise line. She started as a Camp staff and worked hard and worked her way up to a leadership role as an on-board Youth Director. During that time she proved to me over and over again that she is smart, capable and passionate while working with kids. She is friendly and very approachable and this was demonstrated by lots of positive feedback given both by parents and by the kids she worked with. She is fun to be around, has tons of ideas, creative and crafty. She is a true leader...many staff members looked up to her and often asked her for help. She can worked in a team setting or independently as she did this many times while on ships. As a youth team member, she actively implemented Many different types of activities, such as active games, crafts, science experiments, singing and dancing and read stories. She also served meals, changed diapers and is very knowledgeable when working with kids with special needs. She is patient and kind. Petru worked with ages 6months to 17years. When she retired from Carnival Cruise Lines we were sad to see her go, as she was well respected and loved by all. I do hope you consider her for your employment as I fully endorse her capabilities.
