Jolene, babysitter à Stonewall

Hello my name is Jolene . I am 19. I have been taking care of children since i was 12, starting with my own siblings. I have watched children of all ages from 4 months old and up. I know how to change diapers, bathe, prepare meals, bottle feed. My brother has ADHD, Turrets and is Bipolar, so I have a small amount of knowledge on how to calm down children who have these. I enjoy cooking, baking, and house cleaning. I also like to get the kids involved with helping if they can. For example if I was making cookies and the kids are over 5 years of age, I would be okay with them helping me mix the batter, as long as thats something you are okay with as well. I do not believe in having knives anywhere that kids can reach them. I also do not believe that the TV should be a babysitter. I like the hands on approach to things. If you have girls, and they like to play with hair, color, do makeover or paint nails, I will gladly allow them to do mine, as well as clean up any mess that is made because of it. And if you have boys, I have no problem playing videogames, playing with cars, building forts (as long as its safe).
I do have piercings; my tongue and my ears. But that does not effect my ability to babysit in anyway. I do not have a religion, and if you do I will respect it (ex: if you say grace with your children I will too). At the moment I don't have my license, but I do have transportation to and from work. I am available to work immediately, but would prefer to work during the day (7am - 5pm). I am fine with working along side a parent who is getting back into their routine (newborn + another child or newborn + work from home).
