Victoria, babysitting - BA11 Frome

I am 18 years of age and I am a part time student at College. I have completed a Level 2 Health and Social Care course and I achieved a Distinction star. I am currently in my second year of completing a Level 3 Health and Social Care Diploma where I hope to achieve again Distinction Star/Distinction Star.
I have had a variety of experience with children; throughout my course I have been on work experience for 2 weeks within a nursery where I had different responsibilities which included; keeping the children safe, playing games, reading to them, helping them with lunch and break time activities. I also went to a primary school where I worked with 5 and 6 year old's for one week and then 8 and 9 year old's for the second week. As well as this I worked as a part time nanny for 3 months while one parent was at work because the other parent was working away. My responsibility was to keep the children clean and safe, help the children get washed and ready for bed, as well as making tea, cleaning up after the children. I also attended dinner parties where I took part in activities to keep the children occupied; painting nails, walks around the fields, dog walks, watching dvd's, playing games and dressing up. I also attending family outings to keep the children occupied! I enjoy meeting new people and interacting with different people and children. I am a very bubbly and friendly person. I am hoping to work with children as a career and I am hoping to gain experience by babysitting/part time nannying. I am a hard working and willing young lady, I am not afraid to try new things and get stuck in.
