Hi! My name is Lauren. I am 27 years old and love working with children. I currently work as a supervisor in a day nursery. I am fun and bubbly and can usually be found in the middle of fun messy play with children I work with.
I have completed a diploma in early childhood studies at stranmillis university and hold a current certificate in both child protection and paediatric first aid.
In terms of experience I have worked previously with children from 0-10 years. I have also previously worked as a special needs assistant working one to one with children with ASD, ADHD and tourettes.
When working with children I am not a bystander who simply watches the children play and makes sure theyre ok. I enjoy getting involved in the children's games and help them discover and explore new activities while ensuring they are safe and happy. At bedtime I am a believer in stories and songs to help the child go to bed and fall asleep worry free!
