Madison, garde d’enfant à Llangennech SA14

I’m Maddie, I’m 18 years old, and based in Llangennech. I’m currently on a gap year from university and am looking into childcare jobs to boost my experience before pursuing teaching full time. I have experience working as a teaching assistant in primary schools from the ages of 3-8, although I do have a younger brother (14) who I have experience with caring for. I’m currently unqualified but I have been fully DBS checked and am registered with the Education Workforce Council due to working in schools part time. Due to my experience working in schools, I am enthusiastic, engaging, and always have the children’s safety and happiness at the forefront of everything I do. I’m definitely experienced in arts and crafts, can probably sing every nursery rhyme backwards and using my imagination is part of the daily routine! I’m happy to play games, cook, help with homework and anything else needed. I passed all my GCSE exams at A* - B (including music, nutrition - I can make a pretty impressive pasta -, history and geography as well as core subjects) and have 3 A Levels earned at A - C (psychology, drama and English). I speak second language Welsh although I am not fluent. I am also currently undertaking an online course in simple babysitting. I’m happy for any opportunity to help grow my skills!
