I am an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is passionate about providing quality care for children. As a caring individual I believe I have the attributes essential for giving children the best start in life. I have completed my Higher National Certificate in Early Education and Childcare and have passed this and received an A. I am very eager to work with children and thoroughly enjoy my placement within the Early Years Class and Primary 1/2 at Maidens Primary School and have continued to volunteer within the setting after my placement had finished. I received a very positive evaluation for my time within the setting and consequently won the Busy Bees Placement Award. I have also recently gained employment with Dumfries and Galloway Council and East Ayrshire Council as a Casual Early Years Practitioner. I also have knowledge of Pre-birth to 3, Building the Ambition, Curriculum for Excellence, the National Care Standards and the SSSC Code of Practice and will be registering with the SSSC. I am eager to work with children and I am looking to build up my experience through nanny and babysitting jobs.
