Hi!
I am a third year nursing student working towards a career on a paediatric or neonatal unit. I have always loved working with children and would like to continue that into my career. I have years of experience and would love nothing more than to work with children throughout my summer break.
I have had numerous opportunities to work with children. My experience ranges from teaching dance, to tutoring, to babysitting and most recently nannying throughout the summer months of 2014. My responsibilities as a childcare provider have included bathing, changing diapers, preparing meals, and putting children to bed. I have taken children to play groups and picked them up from day camps. I have cared for children from newborn to sixteen years of age. I love spending time with children and preparing activities for them: playing with toys, doing arts and crafts, and playing outdoors.
I also love cooking and baking and I am able to do housework.

This past summer I worked part-time for two families. My responsibilities included feeding, bathing, and dressing the children. I picked up the children from day camps, and brought them to play groups. I also did light housework for both families. Both families came to the conclusion that $13 per hour was appropriate for the responsibilities I had with the children.
