Amy, garde d’enfant - S6 Stannington

I am currently an early childhood studies student at Sheffield Hallam University, I will be starting my 3rd year in September 2017. I have countless experience working with children and thoroughly enjoy it therefore I am looking for part time employment within this profession. After finishing my university course I am hoping to continue onto a post graduate course in the hope of becoming a qualified primary school teacher. I am a very friendly, confident and caring person who is dedicated to encouraging children's play and development. I absolutely love looking after children and will always put your child's safety and care above all.
I have completed a CACHE level 3 diploma in Child Care and Education and I am currently going into my 3rd year of a BA Honours course in Early Childhood Studies. I have also achieved my Level 3 award in Paediatric first aid. Throughout my time at college and university I have undertaken many different placements in a range of settings including nurseries and primary schools. I have worked with children from 3 months to 10 years, including children with special educational needs. Over the last 2 years I have regularly cared for a 2 year old boy, we often go out on day trips and do lots of fun activities together! I have also provided overnight care for him.
Until the end of September 2017 I am completely available to suit as needed, once I return to university I would have to check my timetable, however I will definitely still be available for evenings and weekends.
