As a student in ballet and contemporary dance at the Paris Marais Dance School, I present my application and ask for your trust for this professional babysitting experience.

Looking for a student job to finance my studies as a classical ballet dancer, I have had the opportunity to train and practice childcare on numerous occasions. In India, in West Bengal, in Siliguri, I was first lucky enough to be able to look after my young cousins who were between 2 and 8 years old. I was with them at all times, and my responsibility was great since I was ultimately the one who had to look after their well-being and safety. Later in Mumbai, where I continued my dance studies, I lived with a host family who had a six-year-old son; in exchange for room and board, I looked after their child in the evenings and on weekends.

Arrived in France to pursue my dream of becoming a ballet dancer (in a host family in Courbevoie, I was looking after the little girl, Camilla, from the parents who welcomed me; she was very friendly, very smiling and a real bond of trust was established between us. I was teaching her English, she was teaching me French. It was always a joy to keep her.

All of these experiences have led me to develop the qualities that I believe every good babysitter should have. First of all, serenity and trust to establish with parents, which requires seriousness and rigour; secondly, punctuality; thirdly, listening, both to the needs of parents and children; and finally, adaptability and versatility, because a baby-sitter can be called upon to perform a wide variety of tasks.

On the other hand, I can bring a real added value to your childcare provider: I will be able to teach him/her English and Hindi, as I am a native speaker of these two languages. I also have some knowledge of French. I also love to cook and I am very careful!
