My name is Matthew and I have relocated to Paris permanently from Australia, with a view to establishing myself here in Paris and mastering the language. During this period of learning, I am looking for a role that will create opportunities to learn the language, without the full-time pressure of my chosen career. Prior to my move, I worked in the area of interiors, working on broad range of both commercial and directional communication projects.

Moving away from my family was a very difficult decision and something I had reserved until my younger siblings had come of age, rather than being the older absent brother. I am the eldest of 7 children, and in many ways, I feel like have already parented throughout many years of seeing my siblings grow up. I made many contributions to the family home, from early development right through to helping with them with homework, reading books, bathing, cooking and all-round domestic responsibilities. I also, undertook work experience in a childcare centre while in secondary school. Prior to leaving Australia, I also reguarly cared for two girls Madeline and Victoria (references upon request). Aside from my design passion, the thing that brings me most happiness is cooking.

I understand it is a difficult thing to find a person, that fits your family dynamic, to ensure your child receives the best possible care. I would love the opportunity to have a conversation to better understand my character, ability in caring for children and gourmet cooking skills.
