I am a mother of two daughters and a son who are all grown up. I also have two grandsons who I enjoy looking after.

I am looking for regular care work maybe two days a week, but can negotiate. I do not have a car and would prefer not to drive. Very happy to come to your home to care for your child.

I have a Diploma in pre school management and I've worked in a nursery, pre school and after school clubs before.

I am patient, kind and caring. Can read/listen to reading; help with writing and homework; tell stories, play games, puzzles, walks etc.

I was the manager for Venice and I also employed her. Venice was the activities coordinator in a care home for 77 older people. Residents has varying needs including dementia, nursing and learning difficulties. Venice was in charge of making sure that residents has some fulfilment during the day. She has organise activities including arranging for sessions that come from outside the home as well as run activities sessions. She has extremely enthusiastic, hard working and caring and put her heart into the job. She put a ray of sunshine into to the residents lives. Venice always had a smile on her face and put a smile on the residents face when she was working. I recommend her as in the 26 years I have been working in care it's extremely rare to work with someone who was selfless and just wanted the best for the people and staff she worked with.

Venice was the activity co-ordinator for an elderly care home for 77 frail elderly and clients suffering from Dementia. I was her line manager from September 2010 until June 2012. Venice demonstrated exceptional qualities in the role and went above and beyond what was expected of her. Loyal, professional, hard working, compassionate and empathetic are words I would use to describe Venice. Liked and respected by all her clients and colleagues alike I would happily have Venice working with me now and indeed tried to recently offer her a role but she has moved too far for travelling purposes. I cannot recommend her highly enough
