I have recently arrived in Spain and would like to work part-time during the day. I have the International Montessori Diploma (Gold Seal) and have worked in several nursery and school settings in UK, as well as owning and running my own Montessori Nursery.
The ethos I follow is very gentle, natural, sensorial and creative, putting great emphasis on building children's self-esteem and guiding them towards becoming independent learners. There is also great emphasis on having fun with messy play, cooking, art and craft, etc., since there is no doubt that children learn best through play in primary years.
I have also recently qualified in level 2 Counselling, which has led on to studying Mindfulness for children, teens and adults. This is an excellent embellishment to the skills and qualifications I have used in my work with children over the years.
