Marianne, garde d’enfant ponctuelle à Lancaster LA1

Hello, my name is Marianne. I am currently studying for a BA Hons degree in Drama and I am looking for some part time work alongside and over the holidays. I do not have any experience looking after children, however, (even though it is a big difference) a few years ago I did work for a company caring for the elderly, where I mainly cared for and helped people who, unfortunately, were suffering from Dementia. I found it a very fullfilling job and one of the best parts of the job was listening to their stories and just sitting talking to them. I feel as though this would be something I would enjoy with children also as I have found, from experience, children tend to find a delight in telling stories. One way, I feel, that my passion for Drama would be helpful when looking after children is my imagination. I think that imagination is a very important aspect that children definitely shouldn't miss out on and I would love to help towards a childs ability to make the most of it. I would be very grateful to be given the responsibility and experience to work with your child. Thank you
