Eliza, garde d’enfant - BN1 Preston

I am a friendly and responsible 15 year old who has just finished their GCSE's and so has an abundance of time to give to a role. I am looking to take on babysitting jobs for children and so providing quality care and support. I have undergone work experience in a nursery in the past, looking after children from 10 months to 4 years, as well as continuing to volunteer for them over the summer. In addition, I would help out with the younger years at school. Adoring to engage with children, I would bring valuable care and communication to any child, assisting them with play, homework and carrying out household chores and basic cooking. I find that allowing children to explore their creativity is always effective in their care, for example with painting and drawing. As well as this, I would always encourage either guided or independent reading with the children, expanding their vocabulary and knowledge. Most of all, I would ensure the child was happy, entertained and comfortable, with the support they need at this rewarding time in their development.
