My name is Sophie, I am 29 year old girl from London. I have lived there my whole life but travel frequently. I am a friendly, creative and sociable creature who would love to be part of your team! I am a mature girl with a great sense of humour and always has a smile on her face. I love to meet new people and thoroughly enjoy immersing myself into new surroundings and cultures. I have many friends with children and I have a lot of experience with children of all ages and have brothers and a little sister from my fathers side of the family that I have looked after on a regular basis from when I was 16. There was quite a vast age gap but I find being around younger children very enriching.
I am a very responsible, patient and creative individual who loves to read and I am also a writer in my spare time, mainly poetry and prose for fun but I have written for a few blogs in the past.
I have 10 GCSES, English language and English literature being my strengths. I have a BTEC National Diploma and a BA HONOURS Degree also. My background is in fashion and my last job was for Net-a-porter where I supported senior management so I am used to personal assistance duties and being organised and also having great communication was a necessity.
I enjoy visiting galleries and museums. I enjoy film, photography and music. I collect records and love to go to the library.
I also have another passion; I love to cook. I cook regularly (by demand :) )for my friends and family and cater to all dietary requirements even though I am vegetarian myself.
Im not one for tv culture although film, I have to say I am a huge fan of a good movie once in a while. I love to walk and be in the fresh air and keep the children active and also do not mind walking the dogs (if you have any).
I am currently studying the language in my spare time. I studied it at GCSE level and have many friends also that are also helping.
I am currently working as an Nanny/English Tutor in France and have various experience with children of many ages and infant experience too.
I am looking for an opportunity to progress with both my Personal Assistance experience and develop my childcare experience especially where infants are concerned, I really do adore my job but due to my age I'm looking to continue with full time work. I must also stress that I will not consider positions without a fair live out accommodation offer, again due to my age and hours I desire to work its nice to be able to have somewhere independent to go back to after the day is finished.
