Maria, babysitting à Maisons-laffitte

Dear family, thank you, for reading my presentation letter and have shown interest in my profile:
My name is Maria, I’m 24 years old, and I was born in Elche (Alicante, Spain) where I lived with my family. I was living in Ridgewood (NJ), I came there on January 2014 to be an Au Pair, so from that month to July 2015 I took care two kids, one was 4 and the another one 7. That experience with them has been awesome, I’ve been improving my English and to learn many things of this country and I love it. Now I’m living in Paris, and I’m an Au pair as well, I’m taking care two girls one is 9 and the other is 11. With this family I have to work at evenings so I have time free at mornings for study or being a babysitter. With this family I speak to them in English and in French too.
Children are very important in my life and I have always had a passion to work with them, I love them. I have a lot of experience with them, recently I have completed my bachelor in infant and childhood Education, I have also worked as and nanny for different families. I love interacting with children and to learn with and from them. I believe I have the capability and ability to be a good au pair, I enjoy working and interacting with children and they do enjoy with me. I find it very rewarding that’s why decided to make it my profession.
I come from a big family, my mother has two brothers and two sisters and my father two brothers. I have one brother, he is 16 years old, I have always had to take care off him. I also have eleven cousins and I get along very well with all of them. My family helps and fully supports me with this decision, they think it’s a great opportunity for me to learn many new things and to live a unique experience.
When I finish school I decided to go to study to a different city. I lived for four years in Segovia, where I studied Infant and childhood Education.
My family and my friends describe me as a cheerful, active, loving, responsible, organized, sociable, polite and fun girl. I like go to the cinema, take walks, read, travel, be with my friends, play with children and go to the beach.
My future goals are to find a teaching position in a good school. I’d also would like to continue travelling to discover news places, cultures, languages, and to live and learn from news experiences.
During my life I have had many experiences with children. I had taked care off my little brother and often I have also been nanny for 4 different families over the last four summers where I looked after children from 1 to 13 years old. Also during my degree I have done several internships in schools for long periods.
In the free time with children I like to do different actives with them, play with them in the park, make a crafts, read them stories, play table games, watch movies (I love Disney movies), take walks, go biking, dancing and singing, … I like do many activities for children not to get bored and to enjoy together. Also I could teach them Spanish because if you would want me too.
I’m very used to work with children daily routines I can prepare children for school, I would love to help you with anything you need, I help them make breakfast, take them to school and pick them up, order and clean the kids area and bedroom, help with homework, make lunch and dinner, … I always try to help children fostering their personal autonomy.
