Sarah-grace, assmat à Annemasse

My name is Sarah-Grace , a 25 year old female from Cambridge, England. I am currently available for babysitting and child care duties in and around Geneva. I have a degree in Sociology, and am a qualified English teacher and mental health recovery worker.

After completing my CELTA English teaching qualification I have gained 4 years of experience teaching a range of age groups, from toddlers as young as 3 up to adults aged 60, although I specialise in teaching children between the ages of 6 - 11 years old. I have taught on a one-to-one basis with tailor made teaching styles and lessons adapted to individuals learning needs. I have also taught classes of 5 to 25 students which would involve me planning and adapting curriculum content to make it engaging and incorporating creative ways to learn. When teaching large groups I always focus on individual learning needs throughout the lessons.

As well as teaching English language I have taught English through drama and creative writing. As an enthusiastic and friendly teacher, I easily engage with students and make sure they're English is constantly improving in an enjoyable way.

In Cambridge I managed a charity project where I supported people into work and volunteering roles through one-to-one and group sessions. This involved me delivering specific support for individuals based on their needs and psychiatric diagnosis. I also trained and worked as a mental health recovery worker at a care home which supported people who were unable to live independently. My experience working in the care sector has equipped me with a range of skills and compassion that perfectly suit the au pair role.

I am a lover of the outdoors and really enjoying hiking, climbing and cycling. Another passion of mine is travelling and learning about new cultures and food. When travelling I love picking up new recipes and enjoy cooking them for other people. I am an enthusiastic person and really enjoy having fun in life. Organisation is important to me and I place importance on being a reliable, trustworthy person.

During childcare I can look after your children at home or take them to do some enjoyable activities. If needed I can also incorporate fun English teaching methods and practice into our time together as well as helping with their homework.

Outside of child care responsibilities I am happy to take on other tasks such as; light-housekeeping, running errands and cooking responsibilities.
