Laura, garde périscolaire - DG8 Wigtown

Hi there,

My name is Laura and I am a mum of 3 girls, two older and one still at school. I have worked with children all my working life and have been a professional children's Film and TV chaperone for over 20 years. I hold an Enhanced PVG certificate and a local council chaperone licence.
I've also done several childcare courses relevant to Children in the Entertainment Industry. (BBC and NSPCC)
I have looked after children from the ages of 3 to 16. Normally I would have the child/children in my care from early morning till I returned them to their parents/guardian at the end of the day. Their care and well being was always my main priority. I have been away from home on work jobs with children both UK and abroad too and done residential work too.

I have never stopped learning from the children in my care. I really enjoy the laughter, the stories, the tears (sometimes) and the smiles. I don't mind being outdoors, love animals - have a big fluffy persian cat and a wee fat pony!
I recently moved to Dumfries and Galloway and therefor I am now looking for more local work. Naturally if i could still work with children I'd love to.
I have my own car and clean driving licence.
