Kersty, garde périscolaire à Pontypool NP4

My name is Kersty and I am a proud Mum to three children. They are 17, 15 and 13 (two boys and one girl). When I had my first child I gave up work to care for my son and did not re-enter the work environment until the youngest was in school.

When my oldest son started playgroup, i became heavily involved in the playgroup as Chairperson and in that role I was able to provide support to the group in a hands on way. I used to enjoy spending time playing with the children and helping them with their crafts. I was affectionally referred to as 'Auntie Kersty' and still get greeted in this way when i bump into children in the local village (albeit that they are older now!)

I have experience in looking after all age ranges from small babies through to older teens. I am also experienced at caring for different age ranges at the same time, which can be handy when looking after a baby and one or two toddlers!

As a mum I used to enjoy providing a range of activities for my children, whether this was painting with their fingers, creating cards at christmas or going on trips to the park or the local farm... we always had fun and we were never bored!

As a mum and as a carer, i am kind, caring and considerate. Safety and security is of paramount importance, but equally having fun is high on my list of priorities as a carer. Kids seem to gravitate to me, no matter where i go. I am fun to be around and i get down on their level.
