A highly loyal and dedicated individual with excellent communication skills who is able to build positive relationships with a variety of people. Experienced in working in education settings and liaising with colleagues, parents and other agencies. Being a mother, running a household and maintaining long standing employment, I am able to demonstrate the ability to manage and organise workloads effectively.

I am passionate about working with children and have devoted the last 11 years for working in a school. In this time I have worked in a number of roles including lunchtime supervisor, working one to one with children with special needs and running clubs during lunchtime.

I am highly motivated and dedicated to providing positive and enriching experiences for children. As an example of this, I have successfully developed a Ramadan club for children at lunch where I have created an activity program for those children who are fasting. This has been well received by the children and staff at school.

I regularly cover classes as a teaching assistant and assist the teacher in a number of classes ranging from pre-school to year 2. I am experienced in working one to one with children, providing key support to those who need additional help. I have also assisted teachers with whole class activities. I have demonstrated a clear ability to form positive and caring relationships with children and they enjoy my involvement in class.

As part of my dedication to working with children, I have volunteered in early years, assisting with children development and learning through play.

Having worked in an educational setting for a number of year, I developed excellent relationships with children, staff and parents and although I am able to work well on my own initiative, I am also a great team player and enjoy being around others.

I have demonstrated my dedication through taking on numerous roles and responsibilities at the school and have contributed greatly to the quality of service that the school provides.

I enjoy spending my spare time dress making and making alterations to my creations. I have three teenage children whom I enjoy spending my time with. I also like to read, socialise with friends and family and go walking when possible. I am also a keen cook and enjoy spending time in the kitchen experimenting with different dishes.
