Aritz, jeune homme au pair - 48014 Bilbao

Dear Host Family

My name is Aritz and I am 25 years old. I live in Bilbao, Spain and I am marine engineer but now I’m studying mechanical engineering. I have short black hair and brown-green eyes.
I would like to be an au pair to improve my English to help me find a good job when I finish my studies. I would also like to travel to the UK to learn about its culture and meet new people.
I have had some babysitting experience of looking after my 5 year old cousin Odei. I see him once or twice a week and his parents have provided me with a good reference. He is a lovely little boy. I like to play a lot whit him, we usually play whit Lego and different toys (ships, airplanes, making theaters…), and also help him whit his homework’s. When it’s time to go to the bed I have to read him a story and put a night light because he is afraid to the darkness. I shall miss him when I come to the UK as an au pair but I am sure that I will also love your children as well.
I have also worked as a basketball coach of 10 years old 14 girls group (my first work, whit 16 years) for 2 years, and after like football coach of mixed group of children’s (5 to 9 years) for next 2 years. I have also been a tutor for elementary, middle and high school until last year.
It is not always easy to take care of children but it is a great experience to share some time with them. I have much patience because I trained these skills during my coaching time in the sports club and during my baby-sitting whit me cousin. I think it is the wrong way to shout at children. I have the strength to set them limits if necessary and I am consequent.
When I am not studying I like to go swimming and play some sports (football, basketball, biking...). I also like cooking and listening to music.
I will be happy to help your family with some housework and ironing and I would like to go to school to study English. I’m good
I’m looking some Masters to do when I finish my au pair experience, but I don’t know which and going to choose. I'm hesitating to continue my studies by the industrial world or the world of education, but if not now, in the future I want to finish as a teacher (secondary, high school or university). Anyway to have access to these positions I need to improve my English level, and also this adventure can help me to choose the correct way to mi future, and growing up like person.

I will be able to come to England in November and stay for a year.
My parents both work. My father is a primary teacher and my mother is an economist. My brother is 28 and he is teacher like my father.
I have driving license since 2009, and I never have any accident or ticket. I think I’m good driver and would be happy to drive in the UK after some practice.
