Hi, my name is Emma. I am a 26 year old Australian who has worked as a nanny for four years whilst studying (Completed Bachelor of Social Work and Social Planning in 2010). I do not have a contact number as I am still residing in Australia until I have secured employment. Whilst being a nanny I had the responsibility to care for two children (1 year old Male and 4 years old female) full time. My responsibilities included:
- Created a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment
- Supervised the children’s activities at all times
- Planned and prepared meals and bottles
- Dressed the children
- Placed the children down for naps during the day and at bedtime
- Bathed the children
- Changed diapers
- Potty trained the children
- Performed housework related to child care, including washing the children’s clothes, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas, and washing bottles
- Played with the children, both indoors and outdoors (including educational activities such as reading and arts and crafts).
- Drove the children to and from activities
I have been working for the past 4 years as a Social Worker in Melbourne with young people (aged between 7 and 17) and have the experience, passion and enthusiasm required to be a reliable, energetic and professional Nanny. I have a Senior First Aid Certificate and a Child Safe Environments Certificate.
My fathers family was born in England before migrating to Australia in the 1950's, which is what has sparked my interest to explore the UK. After travelling to the UK in 2011 and 2012 for a holiday, I decided I wanted to take the opportunity to live in such a beautiful country and explore my English heritage. I plan to live in England for a minimum of 2 years. I have a British Passport which will make the move easy. I am passionate about my work, healthy lifestyle, friends and family. I hope you will consider me as your Nanny, it goes without saying that I would take exceptional care of your child/ren and would take great care to maintain the condition of your home.
