I'm a kind, mature Scottish nanny and childcare provider. Happy to spend the afternoon/evening making craft and telling stories or running around playing monsters and super heroes!

I’m a passionate, energetic Arts and Early Years Teacher who believes in the importance of learning through play and creative activities. I have over 10 years of experience Teaching Art and English in Europe and Asia. I enjoy planning and delivering creative activities for children including: games, role-play, storytelling and crafty activities! I also appreciate the quiet times and I can be very patient. I enjoy spending time with children and getting to know their thoughts on the world!

What to expect...

I have a very fun, playful, creative approach, but also understand the need for balance and boundaries. I like to encourage children to explore and be creative, empowering them to make good decisions and manage risk. I have extensive experience caring for children all ages, whose first language is not English and those who have additional behavioural needs.I’m also confident dealing with challenging behaviours and any difficult situations, which may arise and I’m very respectful of parent’s own beliefs and ways of parenting.

What I enjoy...

I’m a very active person and enjoy yoga, hiking and cycling. I like to eat a healthy vegetarian diet and do not smoke, but I’m respectful of other people’s choices too and pretty flexible. I’m an Independent person, who’s travelled lots and lived away from home for long periods of time. I’m mature, clean and tidy with lots of common sense and problem solving skills.
