Hello my name is Kerrie I am 34. I have been working with children and young people for over 10 years with young offenders institutes in Bristol for South Gloucestershire council and for over 10 years I have been Work for children’s social services within the children’s homes Bristol City Council. I have gained a lot of experience within my time and looking for a change but still working / supporting families and to ensure your child / children has the best quality of care and positive outcomes.

Due to over 10 years experience of working with children and young people I have all experience around safe guarding / safety worked with young vaunrable young people in which are at high risk of child exploration, behaviour management, emotional difficulties from experiencing abuse extra, I have gained experience within my previous job and continue to, i have worked with young people with a secure unit (Y.O. I) young offenders. I have worked with family’s to support them around there time in crisis to support the family for the best interest for the young person to insure stratigies are in place/ assessments / risk assessments to ensure all are safe ( child).
I have understanding about children’s development/ health / education/ hobbies / nurturing / building positivity/ relationships and trust . I can evidence all and there’s more I can share, thank you for reading.
