Charlie, au pair à Rochester ME1

I am a 19 year old female who enjoys looking after children and would like to pursue a career in childcare. I live in Strood, Kent and am will to travel to my job if local.

I done 2 weeks work experience in a nursery for my year 10 work experience, I enjoyed working in the nursery and it made me realise that I want to pursue a career in the childcare industry.

I have over a years’ experience looking after children, I babysit my 4 year old niece, and my neighbours two children, a young girl who is 3 and baby who is 16 months old. I would feed the baby breakfast, take the young girl to nursery and care for the baby still I would have to pick up the young girl from nursery, I would then make them lunch and care for them till they were collected by their mum. These two children are under the care of social services so I have been DBS checked.

I enjoy baby sitting as I have a lot of patience for young children and enjoy looking after them and giving them the care they need. I do a lot of activities with them which include painting, baking and playing games. I love to cook, do my own washing and cleaning as it makes me feel independent.
