I have followed class (In Quebec) for a Babysitter certification and then worked part time babysitting.
I then startes working at camp at 14 years old as a Assistant counselllor for two years. the summer of my 15 years old I flew to BC and worked for my sister as a Nanny for 5 Months, taking care of both her new born baby boy and her 3 years old son.
At 18 years old I started as an official camp counsellor for a season, The next year after that I started at a diffrent camp (outdoor type) where the kids stayed weeks with us for about 6 months. ( the spring and summer season ).
I have my first aid and CPR certification as well as aquatic rescuer certification (from Quebec).

I would in general charge at least $12.50 because of my experience and I wouldnt accepte a job that paid me less then what I am use to make working at camps.
You should also note that I will be charging an extra If I need to take the bus from my current location (Lake Louise) unless you you pick me up or bring the childrens at my home.
