Hi, my name is Elyssa and I'm a poet/writer/musician from the United States, hoping to live and work in Madrid. I'm writing this in English because I'm still learning Spanish, plus I hope to find a family that needs a native English-speaker to help their children learn the language.
Relevant experience/qualifications: CPR certified, 7 years spent babysitting various ages (infants to teenagers) for families in my home state, 1 important summer working as a Girl Scouts camp counselor in rural Alaska, and completion of a backpacking leadership course for girls (but as an older sister to two little brothers, I admire little boys, as well!). For 2 years, I've worked as a caregiver for elderly people, resulting in extensive housekeeping experience.
My ideal placement would be a live/work situation, where I can help your family, save as much money as possible, and write. I am creative, compassionate, patient, and curious.
