Salut! My name is Caitlyn and I am a Canadian au-pair from a small town called Nelson in the mountains of beautiful British Columbia. I have thirteen years of experience caring for children from their first month to eight years old in Germany, Canada, England and Turkey. I have volunteered in Nepal, Thailand, and Laos as an English teacher, instructing from kindergarten to high school. I speak English and German, with some basic Italian, Spanish and French. I enjoy reading, writing, swimming, baking and spending time with family and friends. I have infant first aid as well as occupational first aid qualifications. I would like to find a good, kind family with young children I can play with and teach English to. I enjoy teaching language with music and games; I love using getting kids interested in science and exploring, and enjoy reading with them most of all. I also understand physical activity is just as important as stimulating creativity; I want to help the children i care for to be healthy, happy and imaginative.
