Hello, my name is Santiago I am 22 years old, I was born in Bogota Colombia and I lived there most of my life. In may of 2017 I traveled to the US to improve my English and do a TOEFL test. I learned English by myself when I was a kid and spoke it since I was 12 years old. I lived in Salt Lake City, Utah since May 2017 until December of 2019. In that period of time I studiemainly prepared for the TOEFL test, I performed the te, st and score 98. Afterwards I jofromthe Salt Lake Community College and studied general studies on summer and fall semester of 2018. Due to a family situation I had to go back to Colombia for the 2019 year, the same year in which I decided that I want it to follow my dreams and go to Paris to learn french and study. And here I am, I enjoy learning new languages and also about different cume ltures, I have always believed that this world is too big and has tons of knowsomeone'so offer and the door to thatowledge is languages.

My experience with children is mainly with a isple of twins back in Colombia, Samuel and Jacobo. I worked with them since 2015 till 2017 and then back in 2019. Mainly childcare and also teaching them English. I loved working with them, one of the main reasons that I choose to work with children is the fact that I have a little brother and sister as well as cousins, so I have been around kids my entire life. But having the chance to work with children outside my family gave the opportunity to learn from them, I have always believed that being part of someone development is something of an immense value. I like to get to know the children and know what are their interest and create activities around that, I like to do activities that involve more thinking or activities that require outside work or some sort of exercise, and that can go from sports, dance, singing, puzzles, reading or anything outside of screens.

I had the opportunity to teach English and I enjoyed helping the children to learn something new, something that I knew was going to help their future. As I learned English mainly by myself I like to work with that approach and rather than a traditional way of teaching with books I prefer to have the children doing activities even games that involve the language so they can discover the languages by themselves, and if they enjoy the activities and gain an interest in learning they will immerse themselves in the language and the learning process will be easier.

I love outdoor activities, fitness and sports. I love to practice basketball I competed during my school years. But I love to practice and watch different sports like soccer, skateboarding, cross-fit, american football. I also enjoy photography and filming, I spend a significant part of my life with my camera.
