Victoria, baby-sitter - BS6 Bristol

Hello!

My name's Victoria. I am a young British female, recently returned to the UK after several years working in Hong Kong (where I was raised). I attended the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) in the UK, where I attained a BA (Hons) in Acting.
I have 8 years experience working with children, mainly age 2-6. I have run a large variety of classes for children, based on teaching English, music, drama and movement- some include phonics classes, 'mothers and toddlers classes', Trinity drama classes (coaching children for speech and drama exams), free writing, and more.
I have experience working in Learning Centres as a class teacher, in client's homes as a Private Tutor, and as a class teacher in a kindergarten. My most recent job position within education was as a main class teacher in an international kindergarten in HK, which was based on the UK curriculum.

My training is in the arts, and I am very passionate about the importance of creativity and imagination within education. When working with kids, I love to incorporate games, music and drama into learning, and encourage children to express themselves and boost their confidence through those means. I firmly believe learning should be fun!

As a person, I am friendly, energetic, caring and reliable. I am passionate about my work, and have referees that can tesitfy I am a dedicated worker.
I am looking for a friendly family that need someone for either part time (after school pickup, 3pm-6pm) or full time help (9am-6pm). I don't have a car, but am willing to do school pick up if it's within walking distance! I can help with homework, and am also a good cook : )
