I am Portuguese and raised in Portugal. Since a child, I always liked to participate in festivals and community events. I used to participate and work in youth and children’s projects focused on social and cultural education and welfare of the community.
When I came to England I have done English courses (Entry 3/IELTS) and I have worked for six years in a voluntary capacity for the Harlington Baptist Church in the Arts Department as co-team leader and in the Christian Education Department as teacher assistant. Also, I have worked as a carer for eight years and I am glad to help others enjoying life to the full.
I am friendly and cheerful and I have a great capacity of dealing with hard and complex situations. I am always willing to serve and caring for others; ready to experience new environments and promote creativity.
I have worked as a babysitter and as a Nanny. My responsibilities involved: watching the children sleeping, changing diapers, playing games (toys, hide and seek, out-doors activities, ect.) preparing meals, teaching the children to read and perform other practical tasks required by the parents.
