I am a mum of 2 boys who are now both at senior school and I have 8 years experience as an Ofsted Registered Childminder. This involved looking after 6 children, with ages ranging from 4 months to 14 years. I planned our weekly topics and daily activities around the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. This included organizing a good mix of educational activities, art and craft activities, days out, as well as day-to-day essentials. OFSTED graded my childminding business as “outstanding”, the report is available on request. I also have 5 years experience in an educational setting helping children with maths and literacy. I am degree educated, qualified to NVQ Level 3 Early Years Care and Education and I have a current enhanced disclosure. I would ideally like to work part-time but I am flexible with my hours and happy to cover changing shifts.
I love arts and crafts, baking, and going to the park. I also have a special interest in Early Years Education. In addition to my childminding experience, I also have 5 years experience in helping young children learn to read using phonics.
