Hi, my name is Julie and I am a 46yr old mum of two children aged 18 and 12 years. I have been a live in nanny, nursery nurse and family support worker in the last 30 years and I am fully qualified in childcare and experienced to level 3 . I enjoy looking after children and helping them to reach their full potential. I have a gentle, nurturing nature but I am able to be firm if necessary. I enjoy providing interesting activities for children and my hobbies include making wooden and felt toys for the very young. I think it is important to give children good social experiences so would take them to lots of local activities to develop their social skills and self confidence. My experience ranges from babies up to around 7 but my own children are older. I am looking for something part time up to 16 hours per week while I am developing my ideas to start up my own business.
