Hello Families! My name is Francesca. I am originally from New Zealand and i am living in Northern Ireland on a working holiday visa. I am currently looking for temporary jobs and babysitting, but in September may be looking for something more permanent. I am 27 years old and I have been a professional Nanny for 9 years. i absolutely love working with children and as a child carer i would describe myself as very child focused. Its very important to me that i meet and tailor my care to each child as an individual and that they receive lots of love, care and attention. I would be described by most parents i have worked for as very calm and relaxed and this is often the affect i have on children. That does not mean i cant have lots of fun though! I love doing whatever each child loves to do, so this means in the past i have become an expert on Trains, Football, Peppa Pig, Minecraft, Arts and Crafts play and have lots of practice in storytelling. I'm always very excited to meet each new child and get to know them and to love what they love. I feel open communication and respect with the parents is very important. I am very aware that i am not taking your job of parent but I am instead looking after your children in your absence. So I feel its very important to follow your lead and consult you regarding how you would like your children cared for. I have worked with children ranging from Newborns to Teenagers, babysitting to full-time, to temporary and part time jobs to sole care while the parents were away overseas, and from multiple children to just one child.
