I am a sixteen year old student who has recently completed my GCSE. As GCSE options I took both Child Developement and Health and social care in which I got consistent A/B through out. By choosing these options I have a good understanding on how to look after a child safely and how different activities/games can promote a child's development. I am aware of the hazards and risks children might encounter in and outside of the home as well as the different precautions that can be put in place to make sure that a child is safe from harm.
