I am a retired Maternity Nurse... and i am returning to work on a more relaxed and flexible attitude. I have worked overseas for Private clients.
I was off work for 4 years dealing with getting new knees... i am pleased to say its great to be able to move about!
i am looking for something more local or in Cheshire. Child care i have done for over 23 years. I have been told that i have a softly softly approach yet i do believe in a good routine for all the family!! Ive also looked after siblings and cooked the odd meals... i can easily muck in and am very easy to get on with. I am a pacific islander ... and i come from a large family. I have grown up children and i am also a grandmother!! I may not be able to run around a garden like i did in my 40s .. im 50 now... but i love art work reading and my grandchildren always seem to have fun with me!!

For the experience i have had which is over 23years. I have never needed a CV as all my jobs have been word of mouth. When i started as a Maternity Nurse i worked for a few Agencies in London but then after a year decided to go it alone ... i have contactable references. Obviously as a Freelance Maternity Nurse my rate was much higher but ive been told ..im worth every penny!!!
And which ever family hires me you will understand why..
Now that all my children have fled the nest. I am looking for a family that may want a more mature nanny etc. Even tho i love the outdoors im 53 yrs old and everything is done at a more slower pace!!!
Id like to grow with a family and give plenty of tlc but also have a routine and a structured life style... discipline is also used but with a softly softly approach.
