Sinead, baby sitter - KT5 Surbiton

Hi there,

My name is Sinead. I am a South African girl who moved over here 3 years ago. I moved over to further my career and am looking for some extra money to cover the expensive living costs of London.

I currently work in Compliance management for an astute company called Resource Solutions. I am available in the evenings and on weekends.

Whilst I was at University I au paired for two lovely families back in South Africa.

The first family took me on with no experience. I looked after two lovely girls aged 9 and 13. I helped tutor the younger one as her spelling was atrocious and I drove the older one to and from dance classes. I also stayed over night when the parents wanted to get away, taking the girls to and from school as well as cooking them breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately the family had to relocate in South Africa and that meant I had to move on however they managed to refer me to another family that took me on.

The second family there were 3 girls, aged 5, 9 and 13. I looked after all of them every afternoon after school, ensuring they were fed dinner, go to after school classes such as dance ect, their homework was completed that evening and that they were bathed by the time their parents got back. Unfortunately I left the family to relocate to the UK. I am still in contact with them as they grew very close to my heart.

I am incredible with children, I understand them and help them develop mentally by challenging them in fun and interesting ways. My experience with children ranges from 0-13 years. Being part of a large Irish family has had me raising children from a young age.

I have a broad understanding of the necessity of baby care. Burping, feeding and nutrition is something I took great interest in when I was deciphering if I would like to proceed as a chef in the hospitality industry.
