Ayanna, baby-sitter - M8V Etobicoke (new toronto / mimico south / humber bay shores)

I am a 4th year full-time psychology student at Ryerson University looking for a part-time position in Child Care. My hobbies include painting, hiking and Pinterest crafts. My goal in the future is to work with children with psychological needs and/or assistance.

Throughout my high school years I provided child care for a number of families whose children range from a newborn until the age of 12 years old.

I was also a gymnastics coach for tumble tots which range from 1-3 years of age and a low-level entry class for girls aged 8-12.

I was a nanny to a wonderful family which included 2 boys aged 4-6 for over 2 years until recently. Activities included walks to the park, crafts, seasonal activities such as pumpkin picking or snowman building. Homework and routine were always a priority but making things fun is necessary.

I am CPR/First-Aid trained and certified.

Child-care to me is based on each individual child, learning to communicate and provide guidance and support depending on their particular wants and needs.
