Lily, baby-sitter - PO12 Gosport

My name is Lily. I am 19 years old and currently live in Gosport with my partner.

It is only recently that I have moved to Gosport due to my partner, whom is in the Royal Navy, being relocated in order to train for his promotion. He is now based at HMS Sultan.

I am currently working as a Customer Assistant for Tesco in Lee On Solent, however this role does not fulfil my passion of which lies within childcare. I currently work 24.5 hours per week over 3 days. However if you were to accept me as your child-carer, my employment with Tesco can be swiftly terminated.

I am fully flexible; I possess a full UK driving licence and have my own car. Gosport is a short drive from Otterbourne, therefore I would be able to be with you promptly in situations where you may have to give short notice.

I have several GCSE and A-level qualifications. My GCSE qualifications consist of: English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Business Studies, Art and Design, French, Drama and Citizenship. I received between an A-C grade in all of my GCSE subjects.

I completed my A-level qualifications in June 2016, these consist of: Communication and Culture, Sociology, and Health and Social Care. At AS-level I achieved an A grade in each of these subjects. I am particularly proud of my Sociology result in which I achieved 100%. At A-level I acquired an A in Sociology, and a B in both Communication and Culture and Health and Social Care.

Prior to moving to Gosport, I was born and raised in Somerset, living there for 18 years.

Upon completion of my A-levels, I began paid childcare of a 4 year old girl called Ella. Additionally, I occasionally looked after her elder brother Ben, 13. My duties included: escorting them to appointments and other out of school commitments, helping them with homework tasks, encouraging educational activities, entertaining and playing with them, preparing and making meals and performing incomplete household tasks for my employer.

In order to further my skills I have recently enrolled myself on three online courses through 'Oplex Careers'. An introductory First Aid course, Human Resources Level 3 course and Human Resources Management Level 4 course.

I am an enthusiastic, motivated, organised and compassionate individual and I am very excited about this opportunity.
