During my childcare course I was placed in a private day nursery for 5 months, then a primary school for 3 months. I have had 6 months paid work at a different nursery / after school club / holiday club. I was in charge of the activities for the after school club children, deciding and implementing what they will be doing each day between eating their snack and leaving to go home.
