Hi, I'm Jess, an experienced secondary school teacher from Australia, currently living in Banff. I have also had experience working and volunteering in primary schools and children's youth programs.
I am very warm and friendly and love looking after kids of all ages. I am an art teacher primarily and would happily engage the children in creative, age-appropriate activities. I am also happy to help work through homework where necessary. I play the guitar and can also teach this skill to children over 10 years.
I have nieces and nephews in Australia that I regularly looked after while living their (often overnight). They ranged in age from 1-6. I am also a step mother who has helped raise my beautiful step son who is now 7.
I am happy to do emergency/call-out care for local Banff families or tourists to our beautiful town. I can either work from your home/hotel or take children for small outings around the town. I am available 24/7 for part time or one-off care and can also do overnight stays on occasion.
