I am a reliable, energetic and enthusiastic person who really enjoy spending time with children. I am a mother of 3 children. Currently, I am working part time as a Midday Assistant at St. Mary's Catholic Primary School in Hornchurch providing 1:1 support to a Child with SEN. I have also been working as a Care Worker and private nanny for about a year.

As a Nanny, I offer picking up, dropping off, supervising the child/children, making meal for them, feeding them, personal care and supporting with various needs, helping with their homework, taking them out, library, park, playing games.

Previously, I worked for various agencies and schools as a teaching assistant. I had opportunities to work with various age group children, supporting and supervising them in meeting their needs and targets, carrying out daily activities aiming their learning and development. I have a good understanding of child development; I am able to communicate well with children and can keep them engaged in my care. My work experience has boosted my confidence of working with children with a variety of abilities, educational needs and syndromes.

As a trained Care Worker, I offer various support to my clients: assisting with a ‘good morning’ start to the day, helping my client to get up, wash, shower or bathe, dress and have breakfast, medicines, preparing meals and assisting them at mealtimes, doing shopping for them, help with their laundry or ironing and keeping their home clean and tidy, supporting them with social activities such as going out for a walk, going to church or club etc. I have provided support to old people and adults with Special Educational Needs, physical needs and various illness i.e. Autism, dementia, MS, diabetes.

I have completed Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Assistant, First Aid training, British sign Language Level 1 and some important training that are relevant to my care work job such as Manual Handling course which includes operating wheelchair, Hoisting, how to handle a person with physical disability; Safe and Appropriate Handling of medicines Level 1 & 2; and A Basic Life Support Training. I have an updated DBS.
