Grace, garde enfant - 8208 Schaffhausen

My name is Grace and I am 25 years old and a native English speaker with proficient German language skills. I am a Swiss who grew up abroad and have been living in Switzerland since 2013. I have previously worked in an international company here in Switzerland but since May 2015, I have been focusing on doing intensive German language courses and am currently at a B2 level.

As a teenager, I used to do a lot of babysitting for the age bracket of 7 months old up to the age of 10 years old. I enjoy playing and being interactive with children, encouraging them in developing their creative side and imagination and I love to do activities with them – whether it is jumping on the trampoline together, inventing a new game, going to the park, drawing or helping them with their school homework etc., I am always happy to make sure they are having fun. To quieten children down at the end of the day, I love to read to them as I find this is a wonderful way to capture their attention and to provide the right mood so that they will be able to go to bed easily.

I am a great cook, I love to also look after animals (if you have a dog that needs to be walked – I’ll do that too!), and I would be able to offer to help build your children’s English vocabulary if they are non-native speakers.

I study in the mornings from 8:30 until 11:00 each day and would like to find a nanny job, which I can work afternoons. I currently live near Schaffhausen and study in Zürich and am open to positions available in these two cantons.
