Hello, my name is Lauren and I am 16 years old, nearly 17. I would consider myself to be very friendly and outgoing. I am also able to get along with children of all ages and I enjoy meeting new people and building relationships.
I would be looking for a job looking after children anytime over the summer holidays and then preferably in the evening when the academic year begins again. I would be able to cook, but am not a professional so I would prefer only cooking the basics, e.g pasta and children’s oven food. I would also be able to keep children entertained as I would be able to play whatever game they wanted and if they needed help with anything, such as homework, I would be happy to lend a helping hand.
I have been a member of girlguiding for over 10 years now and was given the ‘buddy award’ for my continuous help and support with a peer who has Down syndrome.
